Update on the neighbor
Just though some people might care to know whats going on....
On friday night, me, aubrey, and josh were getting ready to out to dinner (all you can eat sushi!) with some friends... we were in the car about to leave when we remembered we needed something from the apartment.
So aubrey drives his car up to our apartment, and parks next to the curb behind our parking spots.... prob like 15 feet from our parking spot and the neighbor's cayenne...
We're there for maybe 3 minutes or so while we wait for josh to go grab something...
Me and aubrey are standing next to the car waiting.
I look up and notice the neighbor's blinds moving... like someone had just looked through them... but i dont see anyone... seconds later i see someone walking down the stairs... im like "oh hell no... this guy has some guts" and i point him out to aubrey...
The guy comes down, and stands outside and watches us... and we stare back.
And he just watches us for like 3 or so minutes until josh comes back... the whole time im staring back, because im just begging for him to try to start something...
Anyways, we eventually just leave... jesus i hate that guy....
Well... since last night, the cayenne is gone... in its place is some old ass white van. Haha... i guess the guy was so scared we'd fock up his car that he traded it for another car of his or something...
WHICH IS GOOD! I want him to be so freaked out that he inconveniences himself because of us.. i want him to be scared... mofo.

Marijuana Vending Machines Opening For Business in LA

These electronic drug dealers won't be out on the street next to a Pepsi machine, of course. No, they'll be "housed in standalone rooms, abutting two dispensaries and protected by round-the-clock security guards." To use them, you'll need to go with a prescription in hand, get fingerprinted and get a prepaid credit card that's loaded up with your dosage and what strain of weed you want. Yeah, no joke, the pharmacists in LA give you a choice between OG Kush and Granddaddy Purple.

So some background info:
Me and my roommates were planning on having a friend's bday party at our apartment this saturday.. so as a courtesy my roommate decided to type up a nice letter letting our neighbors know about it. Basically it said like "we're planning on having a party, it might get a little loud, and we know its an inconvenience. But it would be great if you could be a little tolerant this weekend. if theres any problems or concerns you can call us at blah blah blah." that was basically it.
He went and handed it out to all the neighbors, and talked to the apartment under and next to us. They were cool... just this one neighbor on the other side of our apartment. First, his wife called saying we needed to be quiet after 10.... which is when the party was supposed to start... anyways, all of a sudden she starts being more aggressive, then the guy gets on the phone and starts yelling and cussing at my roommate... keep in mind that my roommate this whole time was being as courteous as possible.. were yelling saying that they have delt with college kids in the past and that if we tried to pull something, they would call the cops, call the leasing office, and have us evicted... pretty much they were threatening us and being very hostile.
Due to them, we moved the party.
Anyways, over the last couple weeks, the neighbors would come to our door and complain about the noise... when we werent even partying or anything... my roommate would be in the apartment by himself playing call of duty and the guy would come and complain... either way, no problem, my roommmate turned it down... this happened twice.
Fast forward to last night, we had like 5-6 people over, and we werent even partying... no drinking, just hanging out, playing video games, talking, laughing.
Anyways, the guy calls us saying we're too loud. So we turn off our music, turn off the video game.... 10 minutes later, the guy calls agian and leaves a voice mail saying "i dont know what youre trying to pull, but if thats how you want to play... im gonna get you guys evicted. blah blah blah..." he basically threatened us and tried to bully us around...
SO TODAY... i get back from class at like 10:30 am, and as im pulling up to our parking spot... the neighbor is backing out of his spot... he sees me and blocks my parking spot so i cant park... i stop and wait, wondering what hes doing, and he gets out of his car and comes up to my car... i roll down my window and the fucker puts his hands on my door and leans in... puts his face right into mine and says:
Him: do you live in 319?
me: yeah, whats wrong?
him: "Listen, i dont know what youre trying to pull, but if you guys do this shit one more time, im going to have you fucking evicted, im gonna call the cops blah blah blah blah"
The whole time being very threatening and cursing at me... while this is happening im sitting there thinking to myself "who the fuck does this guy think he is? ive never met him before, ive never spoken to me before, and here he is, up in my face, cussing at me and threatening me." i was pretty pissed at this point but i wasnt really saying anything... but then this did it... at the end of his thing he says....
"Do you understand? OR DO I HAVE TO SAY THAT IN CHINESE?!"
(keep in mind this guy is like arab or iranian or some kind of middle eastern)
At this point i SNAPED!
who the fuck does this guy think he is... coming up to me, putting his hands on my car, sticking his face in my face, threatening me, cussing at me, AND THEN FUCKING THROWS FUCKING RACISM AT ME?!
I looked up at him and i yelled this right in his face "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"
The look on his face was priceless, i guess he expected me to be a lil bitch and say sorry or something. But i aint no bitch, im not gonna take that shit.
i tried to open the door, he wont let me, hes holding my door shut.
So i shove my door open.
I step out and im about to shove him... and he grabs my hands so i just push him off me.
At this point he goes
"stay right here! stay right here! im calling the cops! im gonna have you arrested!"
i tell him to go ahead. he gets back in his car and parks it, and i park, get my bags and head back to my apartment while hes calling the cops.
I call up my roommate and he says hes coming back to the apartment.
A few minutes later i get a call from my roommate saying to come out..
The cops show up, and take our stories.
Basically, the whole time the cops were on our side... they agreed that the guy totally over reacted to the incident.
The funny thing is the cop told the guy "unfortunately you live in an apartment complex thats mostly populated by college students" pretty much telling the guy, to move out if hes not happy.
The guy drove a cayenne... and recently swapped that out for a cayenne turbo w/ techart wheels. AND HE LIVES IN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX!
He has a wife and 2 children.... he should stop spending his money on his car and get his family a real home.
So the cops talk to us, take our stories and apparently the guy wanted to make a citizens' arrest and charge me with assault.
The cops talked him out of it though...
Anyways, the cops didnt do anything... and that was that.
I understand that we live in an apartment complex and we need to be courteous to our neighbors. And we are... none of our other neighbors have ever complained.
Actually, right after the incident, the neighbor (a nice older lady) that lives RIGHT UNDER US called... saying:
"oh, i just got you letter and wanted to let you know that a party would be fine."
my roommate told her about what had just happend and she said
"really? you guys had people over last night? i didnt hear anything! and i was up late!"
So its not me lying or stretching the truth...

Wow, fuck my life, fuck it.
This is ridiculous... the fucking world is conspiring against me.
So last night, i got a speeding ticket heading back to irvine.
80+ in a 65.
Fuck.
Funny thing is i was supposed to stop by in LA to pick something up from someone and drop something off for my cousin.
First, the guy i was supposed to meet up was unable to make it.
Then my cousin wasnt able to meet up either.
After i got my ticket, i realized i got a text from the first guy saying he COULD meet up... but it was too late by then, but if i had gotten it when he sent it i would have been able to meet up.
And most likely, if i HAD met up with either my cousin or the guy i WOULDNT have gotten a ticket, cuz the cop wouldnt have been where he was if i was there an hour later.
Fuck that.
Today after class i realized i had an insurance form i needed to mail out.
Turns out, it was supposed to be sent out 3 days ago.
And "If the enclosed material is not received by the City of LA by 1/19/08, the dependent will be terminated from all coverage"
FUCK!!!!
So i head over to the registrar so i can get a "proof of attendance" form for the insurance.
I park in a 15 minute parking zone and get out... After i get out, a giant buss pulls up behind me... and wants the spot...
Being the nice guy I am, i figure i'll give it to him since hes a big bus and has nowhere else to park... I get back in my car and move my car, even though the person in front of me didnt.
I move 20 feet and park in front of the office in a "no parking zone" next to 3 other cars which are also parked in a no parking zone... and turn on my hazards... since i only need to go in for 10 minutes to pick up the form.
I get out of the office and of course... i have a parking ticket. SIXTY FUCKING DOLLARS. (the other 3 cars were no longer there)
As im leaving the area in my car, i see the fucking traffic ticket enforcer... and approach him, asking if he was the one that gave me the ticket. He was and i proceeded to explain to him that the only reason i was parked in the no parking zone was because i had the 15 minute parking spot, and moved for the bus because he wanted to park there.. And that i was only parked in the no parking for 10 minutes.
He tells me theres "no parking there" and theres nothing he can do, and to move on.
FUCK HIM
Turns out the ONLY REASON the parking enforcer was there was BECAUSE OF THE BUS!! He was there to direct traffic for the bus passengers or something.
FUCK THAT SHIT.
I head home cussing the whole time... i get back to my apartment and park, then proceed to scream obscenities while still in my car about how much i fucking hate my life for a good 20 seconds.
I get out of the car only to see a little old asian grandma hiding behind an honda oddessy peering at me through the window...
Turns out my roommates mom and grandmother were there and probably heard me cussing like a pregnant lady giving birth.
On top of all this theres the 100s of other ongoing problems that im not even going to mention.
Great.
Fuck this shit.
Maybe tomorrow i can get aids from stepping on a nail or something.
That would be awesome.
